Style Origin 2014: Lifestyle FS + Afterparty

Style Origin is back in Cagayan de Oro grounds after last year's spectacular show. This year, Ayala Malls' Style Origin celebrates true fashion with curated looks from the industry's top trend shapers. I was privileged and very excited to attend what's dubbed to be the biggest fashion show in Cagayan de Oro. I brought my sister Abby as my plus one this year, she helped me with some of the pictures as I have very shaky hands sometimes.

This year, the show had two parts: the Mensweek on June 7, 2014 which featured the latest trends from Global Filipino designers, and the multi-brand fashion show featuring Basic House, DC, Mango, Jockey, Petrol, Quicksilver/Roxy, Wrangler, Keds, Spruce, Bratpack, Puma, Res Toe Run, Rockport, Sperry, Artwork, Bettina, Folded N’ Hung, and Mags. Robinson’s Department Store, RRJ, and What a Girl Wants.

Actress Empress Schuck and Ms. Universe 3rd runner-up Ariella Arida also graced the event on Sunday, while Actor Joseph Marco walked for Mensweek. Unfortunately, Saturday was a busy day so no Joseph Marco for you guys, Schuck and Arida were very lovely though (totally developing a girl crush on both)

In the invite, we were asked to don our best fashion expression, you might as well know that my fashion expression is "whatever's comfy", but since I just came from Sunday Service and it was too late to go home and change into the chicken suit that I prepared especially for the evening (Poo), I wore my Sunday's Best. My sister, slightly more experienced in fashion than I am, expressed her fashionality better than I did (she wore her Sunday's Best too).

We went to The Foyer early to start munching on some grub because we had a curfew. Their set up is a little different from last  year's, the ambiance more light and easy (probably due to Missy Bon Bon's presence). The food was catered by TGIF, one of my faves at Centrio (thank you, Bistro group!)
