Even with all our Christmas mourning and family problems, I still believe in silver linings. Thirteen thinngs because we're ending 2013. These are the things/people/events that I'm so grateful for. Yeah, I know I'm not making that much sense. But what are you grateful for this year?
Thirteen. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. My favorite read of the year. Even if I barely made half of my 2013 Goodreads Challenge, i'm still happy I got to read great books like this one. Here's to another probable win next year!
Twelve. Socks. I wouldn't have made it to the end of the year without socks. Thank God for socks! I'll be keeping them next year too. Muahahha!
Eleven. My autographed TFIOS hardbound. I got them this year and will be keeping it for posterity.
Ten. Pepper Lunch in CDO. I'm just so hungry all the time. I want to eat Beef Pepper Rice every day. No, that's not weird.
Nine. Frozen. My new favorite movie of the year. I love it so much I'm even thinking of dying my hair Ice Blond even though I know it'd probably look eeeck on me.
Eight. Baby Sony, our new DSLR powered by Sony Nex lens. I'll no freeloading off pictures from my blogger friends (well, maybe sometimes).
Seven. Our vacay to SG and KL. Memorable because of the friends we packed. Many many more next year, God willing!
Six. My job as my mother's secretary. Muahahar. It's great to have a job. Lol.
Five. Baby tabby. My Nexus 7 (first gen) has been with me all throughout the year, I don't know how I'd survive without it. It's conveniently my library, my notebook, my gallery and my blog's best friend.
Four. My blog is my outlet for everything. It's helped me so much, emotionally, physically (free food, hehe) and even financially. I am so attached to blogging and just ranting away, I didn't think this would be possible. I'm thankful to my blogging community, the CDO Bloggers, for the love, the opps, the friendship and even the award! More power to you next year!
Three. Our church. The whole Blessed Hope community. From our pastors who are always there for us--praying, teaching and helping us-- and our friends, our family in Christ, who support us, watch us and encourage us. God bless these people!
Two. My family. They've always had my back since day one. They've been so patient with me, and they've pushed me to be a better person each time. My home is so wonderful, we always try to communicate openly. Our relationship is growing every year.
One. God. Without God, I am nothing so I'm very thankful for His presence, His guidance, His favor, His blessings, His love. It's such a wonderful life, He's given me what I wanted and what I needed, and more. For everything I'd done and received this year, all the glory and honor and praise belongs to God!
