BeautyCare: VMV Hypoallergenics & Celeteque

Back in highschool, I had a typical adolescent's acne problem that I didn't really conquer despite having a mother that worked in the Beauty Care business. I blame it all on my hardworking sebaceous glands, school highways' dust, stubborn attitude and the internet that kept me up all night. I've tried every beauty care product known to man (from ProActive to Ponds to Clean&Clear to toadloads more) but two brands really kept me coming back for more in the last half decade, VMV Hypoallergenics and Celeteque.

VMV Hypoallergenics

They're a noncomedogenic beauty care and cosmetics company designed for sensitive skin and those skin types that aren't exactly normal (my skin type falls into this category). I've been using them since my junior year in highschool (the peak of my acne-sprouting era) until today. My mother introduced them to me (she worked as VMV's Cagayan de Oro supervisor before switching to electrical sales). They've had multiple packaging and product changes since then but they still haven't done anything wrong to make me think ill of them. Today, I am using their Oil-Control Antibacterial Facial Scrub and Superskin 3 Toner. When I returned to using their products, I started a 2x / week toning regimen before gradually increasing the activity until once a day. Do not attempt to apply everyday on first try.

Also, because of my oily skin, I try not to use sunscreen alot. I don't mind the sun, is all. But if I need to, I look to VMV's Armada SPF 60 formula. It's a little thick but it does what it's supposed to--protect your skin from harmful UV and other rays.

Celeteque

When I ran out of VMV and skincare was the least of my priorities, I serendipitously discovered (not in the Alex Fleming and Penicillin kind of way) Celeteque. Desperate to at least wash my face, I found Celeteque at the drugstore. I must say, I was quite pleased with the results. Their packaging won me over (at least won over Cetaphil). I couldn't stop myself from buying the toner too and I'm proud to say that their toner certainly cleansed me off better than Etude House's (a disappointment, I must say)

(The opinions stated here are my own. The products mentioned above are bought with my own money [or my mother's money, to be more accurate] and a representative from either company has never contacted me [or not too improbable, heard of me].)
