Chill out this summer with Krispy Kreme's Colors of Summer doughnuts and new Cake Chillers! The glazed doughnuts are inspired by the yellow sun, white sand, blue waters and green fields. If you haven't tried them I suggest you run to the nearest KK store now and avail of these doughnuts since they're only available until May 4 (this Sunday), affordably priced at Php45 each. As for the Cake Chillers (called so because they were inspired by Cakes), you can choose among Blueberry Cheesecake, Tiramisu and Black Forest.
The colors of summer doughnuts are available in Raspberry Summer, Blueberry Summer and Lemon Summer. Unfortunately, Raspberry had been sold out when I got there so I couldn't try. Among the two though, I prefer Blueberry (because I've always been a berry fan). However, if Raspberry had been there, I am convinced it would be my favorite T_T.
I would have loved to order a Blueberry Cheesecake Chiller, but they were sold out when I got there (these limited editions are too limited. lol) But I didn't regret the Tiramisu. The caffeine went very well with the doughnuts. Although I am not a big fan of coffee, they go very well with doughnuts so I have them to balance everything out.
Now, I know I just blogged about getting a fitter lifestyle, but as a MOSTLY FOOD blogger, I am REQUIRED to have cheat days. So yeah, it's a cheat day. I am still going to try incorporating everything together so it works though so don't think I'm going to regress from here on. But yeah, I am open to advice!
I love how Krispy Kreme always surprises fans with their creative concept doughnuts (previous include Fresh & Fruity, Christmas Editions, Valentines Editions, Chocolate Celebration) and this time, they deliver (pun intended!) If you're from Ortigas, Makati CBD, Global City and Malate, you can have it at your doorsteps in a matter of minutes by calling 7-9000. However, if you're from CDO, visit their store at Limketkai Center or Centrio branch.
