Sticks, Stones and Broken Sliders

In my best Chinese accent ever, I tell you, "Confucius say, 'Sticks and Stones may break my bones but words... are about as deadly as a gorilla carrying an axe.' Okay, the last part is completely me, Confucius won't say anything like that, he talks alot to spend less time doing kung-fu like any other normal Chinese person."
Okay, first off, I'd like to say sorry for the pretentious quote, it's not even a legitimate quote since I quoted myself, but hey, you're bound to encounter these snippets every once in a while (taking consideration my love for my own voice -- which led me to start this blog in the first place, but that's a story for another day). And two, I'm so sorry I'm not making sense, but admit it, you love reading my nonsense (it's my guilty pleasure myself XD). So anyway, the point for this post being about my broken drawer.
I am struggling everyday because I broke my drawer's sliders (click here). I need to find documents in a hurry (or my momboss will fry me) and I can't do it as fast as I really can. I wish I can tell you more about why I think this is happening (aside from Oxygen and Carbon and all that Chemistry-related swat). It's more than just rust ruining our drawers, I am seriously considering my lack of affection towards these inanimate objects are to blame. It's not like I want to break them, it's just that I fancy a broken drawer slider than a frying from the momboss.
Huh. So unconsciously, I managed to find out the cause of our broken drawers, in addition to really being able to scale just how crazy I am. But as Hunter Hayes put it, I Want Crazy.

BeautyCare: VMV Hypoallergenics & Celeteque

Back in highschool, I had a typical adolescent's acne problem that I didn't really conquer despite having a mother that worked in the Beauty Care business. I blame it all on my hardworking sebaceous glands, school highways' dust, stubborn attitude and the internet that kept me up all night. I've tried every beauty care product known to man (from ProActive to Ponds to Clean&Clear to toadloads more) but two brands really kept me coming back for more in the last half decade, VMV Hypoallergenics and Celeteque.

Okay, I know I implied I would be updating more often and I intended too but as always, (brace yourselves, you're going to hear my most frequently used alibi yet) I was too caught up with RL (real life, cutie pies). Last week was a very busy week for my city, thus my Cagayan de Oro-niche blog, CDOSocial. I attended two Pre-Openings and a Presscon thing. Okay, that doesn't seem that much, but those filled my afternoons while school filled my mornings and Church, my evenings. But I'm glad I have something to do, beats being bored any day!

You must be wondering how I'm faring (or not but please indulge me, lol). I'm okay (that's why the cloud happened--only TFIOS people understand this) except for the fact that I refuse to go on facebook because there's too much pain, and worse, hate. Wait for more rant on this, tonight's just not the time for it. I've already drafted the post so no worries, rant-lovers! Also, I spent a fortune (my whole inheritance xD) on locating and purchasing a book that rendered me broke. Watch out for that too. No, I'm not telling you what it is, it's a surprise :P

Storm We Weathered Through

It has been a day since typhoon Haiyan left the country. It's left many of our neighbors in the whole country (espewcially in the Visayas) homeless but I'm glad a lot of us were prepared for it so not many lives were taken at its wake. We weren't able to get through my sister in Cebu and that worried my mom a little. But she smsed us in the evening so all is well. I was actually thinking of packing up valuable things if worse comes to worst. I'd pack up my passport (I'd already lost it once, I don't need to lose it again), tablet (my baby), some socks and some clothing, flashlights, my nursing bag and probably even epiphone les paul 100 at m123 if I owned something like that. Anyway, for people worrying about it, I'm from Cagayan de Oro and we're all fine from here. School's starting next week and I can't say I'm too excited.
