My mother is picking up dad in MLA, then they'll be heading home and the real wedding planning will commence. Will be really busy over the month. With the wedding, with school, with everything. Might as well enjoy this moment of freedom for today. Not that I don't like schools or weddings, it's just.. they're very consuming... in a happy way I guess. But that means I won't be able to blog as often as I want. Which is sad. BOO. Well, I hope everyone's having a great week so far. Have plans for weekend, any one?
Okay, I'm gonna give you a little background on me and fashion. We have neither history or chemistry (that I know of) and the only thing I know of our current relationship is it doesn't exist. I would love to show you pictures but I'm going to spare you of the crazy visuals. Ha! Not if I can, so here we go with the scary--possibly scarring--visuals.
Okay. I don't think I can go on from here so I'm not gonna post any more pictures of myself. Instead I'll show you pictures of my better and more fashion inclined family members.Debbie~ my sixteen year old younger sister. I grabbed this off her lookbook and her facebook. MUAHAHAHA.
Abby - Yes, they're both Bees. But I can't call myself Sarbie or not even Pendie. LOL. But here she is! She's nineteen, designs clothes and is the owner of her own boutique in our city.
Mother - So of course my mother won't miss out on this cuz she's the one who takes us out for shopping.
that's her in the middle
Anywho. I didn't promise you a fashion revolutionizing post so I owe you none. This rather turned out to be a Family post so I'll have to end it with the classic girls in the family photo.
I thank God everyday for the wonderful family I'm in! It's more than the physical appearance but the heart they have.
Hullo. thar. Some of you new comers might be wondering, "Where in the world is that strange music coming from?" Well if you mean the obviously foreign (unless you're French) song, then yes, I'm to blame. I've fallen in love with it since Edith Piaf was introduced to me by Sabrina from the movie, yep you guessed right, Sabrina (1954). But fortunately for you, I'm not going to rant about my blog's music for the whole of this post. Instead Imma show you my now pink room, who was decorated by none other than Ate Gigi, who surprised me when she draped my room pink.
this is ohsum. kawaii~ my sister deb's selling them for her entrepreneurship class

Yay! So okay, I got this Liebster award which is supposedly awarded to up and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers. "Liebster", according to my friend's blog, is German for sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing and welcome. I actually got nominated by two wonderful people (Anne and Lmyx) but since Anne nominated me first, so I'm going to answer her questions, hehehe. But thank you both for being so generous and wonderful :D There are rules to being able to accept the reward, and yeah, here they are:
♥Each person tagged must post 11 things about themselves
♥They must also answer the 11 questions the tagger has set for them
♥ They must create 11 more questions to ask bloggers they have decided to tag
♥They must then choose 11 bloggers to tag with less than 200 followers
♥ These lucky bloggers must be told
♥ There are no tag back
Okay. So here I go: 1 } I love old people music. Gimme Frank Sinatra, Doris Day and Dean Martin over Britney Spears, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga any day. 2 } I love reading and fall in love with fictional characters like Jimmy Foster (So Over You), Augustus Waters (The Fault in Our Stars) and recently, Patrick Hayward (Fissure). 3 } 1 had braces for sometime in highschool, I whined to take them off when I entered college. 4 } I like watching covers on YouTube and NigaHiga and even Kevjumba (before his language became too intolerable to me) 5 } I like old men. No, definitely not that way. I like them because they look cute when they're old and wrinkly, wise and pleased with their lives. I also have a profound respect for them. 6 } I like guys who have a profound respect for women. And those who suit up like the Barnicles (minus gay part) 7 } I like to sing in the shower for HOURS. Literally my concert haven. 8 } I like listening to French songs even though I don't always understand them. But the whistling in French songs keeps me happy and jiggling. 9 } I don't do romance, boyfriends and dating. Unless they're fictional. Ask me to join a roleplay, YES. Ask me out on a date, DEFINITE NO. Well, not until I'm done with school, anyway. 10 } One mental image I have of myself is one who's principled. But that's kindof ironic since another mental image I have of myself is lack of discipline. Sigh.
11 } Yes, I'm really thinking out of the box to answer this :D
Questions pour moi:
♥ What is your favorite red matte lipstick? - Is it safe to say that I don't have any. Red doesn't look very good on me. I prefer nude colors :D
♥ What are your beauty essentials? - Recently, BB Cream, Cheek tint, Nude lipstick and Brown Eye Shadow.
♥ What is the best foundation you have tried? - Hm. I'm not very good with make up. I've tried Mac, Revlon and Loreal but I am in no position to even try guessing which one I liked best (because, simply put, I'm a make up noob)
♥ If you have to bring only one beauty product, what will it be? Why? - Hm. BB Cream, definitely. Because it has everything!
♥ Give one of your beauty pet peeves - I hate washing off make up at the end of the day but I do it anyway because I don't want acne. Sigh.
♥ Give one of your unforgettable makeup boo-boos (mistake). - Wearing eyeshadow below my eyes that made me look like I'd taken a punch. Tsktsktsk
♥ Who is your favorite beauty blogger/guru? - I will be safe with this one and go with Wendy Nguyen.
♥ If you have a chance to cast Mr. Christian Grey, who will it be? Why? - I don't even know what Grey looks like (I'm no fan of the genre) but I'm going to say Gaspard Ulliel (because I like the Frenchies? LOL)
♥ Do you have a hidden talent? Care to share? :) - If I shared it, it wouldn't be so hidden :D muahahah
♥ Do you believe in love at first sight? If yes, why? - No,love needs time, love needs truth. I believe in attraction at first sight, but love at first sight? C'est ne pas pour moi, merci.
♥ Words you live by. - True Love Waits and John 14:6
Questions pour vous:
1 } If you were a word, what word would you be?
2 } If you were stuck in an island in the middle of the Pacific, the items (five) you'd have in your bag would be:
3 } What song lyrics represent what you're feeling right now?
4 } Please share a funny story. (I know this isn't the question, but please do answer!)
5 } Who are/is the most creative blogger(s) you've stumbled upon?
6 } What is your least favorite social networking site and why?
7 } What's you're favorite pick up line?
8 } If you and the person you hate the most (of the opposite gender) were the only people on earth and the continuance of the human race depended on you mating, will you save the human race?
9 } Which do you prefer: apples or mangoes?
10 } What is your favorite book?
11 } Who is the person you look up to the most and why?

I GOT A "D" ON MY MICROBIOLOGY.
BUT IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT, I DIDN'T FAIL IT SO IT'S ALL GOOD.
NOT TO MENTION IT EARLIER, BUT I'M MENTIONING IT NOW, I FAILED NOTHING SO VICTORY DANCE (A.K. PELVIC THRUSTING IN JUMPSUIT) oh yeah!
I SMSED MY MOM , PEGGY AND MANY OTHER PEOPLES I COULD CONTACT.
AND ON THE WAY TO CHURCH...
WHY THIS EXAGGERATEDLY ENTHUSIASTIC?! WELL, SCHOOL, THIS PAST FEW MONTHS HASN'T BEEN VERY GOOD WITH ME
BUT AFTER I GOT MY GRADES AND EVERYTHING, I WENT HOME LIKE A PROUD SCHOOL KAISER. WHATEVER THAT MEANS.
I'm getting straight to the point. I'm going to sing this song at my mother's wedding in November. A song that made me say "I'm gonna sing this during my vows when I get married" when I first heard it streaming out of Ptr. John's car's stereo. I literally swoon over the video because Ronan Keating is such a stud (can you believe I'm saying this to someone possibly over the age of forty? Sacre bleu!) Did I mention I've memorized each time he closes and reopens his eyes for the dramatic moments of the song too? My church mates laugh at my bizarre character every time we watch this as we realized that this oddly brings out the woman in me. The giggling, over the top, lunatic woman in me. I cannot sort out how I feel about Ronan Keating. Maybe it's the good looks. Gee, good looks really does blot out senses. Ladies, be careful of the wolves in sheep's clothing! In this case, I'm going to have to hope for a non-hot husband so I don't get confused. ROFL. This is crazy. Anyway, I'm happy that PJ and I will have the chance to sing this awesomely romantic song for my mom and dad. My voice isn't that impressive, but I'm thankful for it and give glory to God through it! The lyrics are also very nice and the video, cool and romantic.
Another thing that got me giddy this week is that we've finalized summer vacation plans! I'm not big on traveling but it's a whole new different story when I go somewhere nice with the people that mean much to me. So the family and string of family friends, a.k.a the UdaFancuLitErz (Minus the Erz this time, so just the udafanculits) are going on another wildly fun vacation next year! Destination where? Drumroll, please! Singapore AND Malaysia! WOOT WOOT! Thanks to a large credit card limit and a hardworking mother of two, we were able to book 14 (yes, we're this big of a vacationing family) roundtrip tickets to Singapore at 80% off! How can this be possible? Well, if you're hardworking enough to check for CebuPacificAirlines promo updates and continuously mention it to God daily, then its not impossible! Meanwhile, if you're from the Philippines, you can check their heavy trafficked site and maybe you'll get lucky because by the time I'm done with this post, it's very possible that they''re still not done with their At-TEN-tion promo (10php fare domestic and international flights, tax and other fees excluded) Go visit them now: Just checked. It's not running anymore. Sorry guys. But if you still want to check it out, go to their site: http://www.cebupacificair.com/
You've got to do something with this conspicuous crowd. Yeah, we wore Boracay shirts on our last day cuz we're corny like that :D Je regrette rien!
I will be blogging about the trip or I'll keep a journal. whichever works.
This will be my first time abroad and what the more fun I'll have because I will be with my family and friends! We're starting to save and we're hoping God will grant my mom favor in her work so we'll be able to afford Singapore and its overpricedness. Instead of gifts at Christmas, we're suggesting to take money instead. Everybody's excited and all hyped up! I'm thinking of selling some of my stuff (my violin hopefully, but we've found good use for it at church) so we can hoard more money. But I don't think we'll be able to save that huge of amount as of the moment because there's a huge wedding coming up this November that we're really investing alot (time and moneywise) on. I've also decided that I would stop acting like an immature spoiled brat and joyfully do this for my mom and dad as an act of love--yepp, labor of love.
So this is it for me. Busy, my transcripts from Silliman U still aren't here and I'm beginning to worry I might be enrolling late this semester because of it. I'm also getting my first sem grades tomorrow. Praying I didn't fail anything but if I did, I hope my mother remembers she has three children instead of two. *GULP* Wish me good grades everyone!
Meanwhile I saw this pic with Ate Rebekah. I miss you and your squealing when we rode rock n roll and you telling me you want WOH-TAH (water)! COME BACK SOON! (even though she probably wont see this. but gah!)
hullo there! you've stumbled upon my blog. or i forced you to come here. that's not too unlikely. my name is penda and i recently became interested in bloggingagain. i like to think of myself as a post-hormonal teenager of nineteen. my hobbies include obeying my parents, learning and readingbooks that test my creativity, social conscience and cognitive abilities. i'm Christian and proud of it. i know nothing of fashion but i would like all the help i can get. i'm sorry for being so bad at about me's. all the schools i went to never forced me to describe myself and now i'm suffering for the lack of experience. And click here to know some secrets!
