Why People Fall in Love with Spain
I have always wanted to go to Spain, not only because the guys there are gorgeous like Mario Casas and Enrique Iglesias, but their accent is also very sexy. Hearing Antonio Banderas’ Spanish accent even through a cat in the animated film Puss in Boots can make a girl melt. I will definitely feel like I was in heaven if a hot Spanish guy serenades me in his native tongue. There’s something about Spain that makes people fall in love with it, besides the hunks and bombshells living in that place. Let me give you some reasons why Spain should be included in your list of places to visit:
Fun Games:
I enjoyed playing checkers and dominoes when I was a kid, but things changed when I turned 18. I often get bored of playing those traditional Spanish games so I searched for something that will excite me. I was glad that I discovered poker because this popular table game gave me the thrill that I was looking for. The Spanish people have been playing poker for centuries, but it only started to gain recognition in the country in 2003. That was the time when the internet became accessible to the consumers and online poker was introduced to the internet users. There are many gaming hubs that offer various poker games including www.partypoker.es/. This is one of the most popular poker sites in Spain because of its features and huge cash prizes. Being new to the game, I was able to learn poker easily with the help of Poker Trainer and video tutorials. PartyPoker also allows players to use “play money” instead of real money while practicing. So I was able to play as much as I want without worrying about losing money.
Gastronomy:
All that playing will definitely make anyone hungry, but don’t worry because each region in Spain offers many specialties. This place is perfect for a gastronomic adventure so be prepared to go on a diet after touring Spain. If you are in search for the best paella, then make sure to visit Valencia. Since this popular rice dish originated in that area, you can expect to have a taste of the best paella in one of its restaurants including Casa Roberto. If tapas bar-hopping is your thing, then head to Madrid where you can find numerous restaurants that have tapas bar such as La Camarilla and Casa Lucas.
Festivities:
The people from Spain really know how to party and they do that a lot as seen from its number of festivals. Spain is known for having some of the most colorful and vibrant festivals in the world including the La Tomatina Festival where people throw tomatoes at each other enough to make bowls of soup. Another exciting event is the San Fermin Festival, which features the running of the bulls. Get ready to dance salsa and party for 27 days during the Tenerife Carnivals.
